I hadn't realized there was an edited version. Not as good as the full one, but still good to read, especially if the child loves trains!

“just because you think you can doesn’t always mean that you can”
holy shit :( i wish i had this book when i was a kid

My son loves trains and I love lessons about never giving up. Everybody wins!

These are my favorite kind of illustrations: deep and bold colors covering entire pages with so much to look at.

a great read for young kids, who need to complete something... or not
this can become a childhood favorite

Everybody uses this as a metaphor for perseverance.

This is a story that I thought I remembered from when I was a little kid… But when I tried to think of the actual plot I couldn’t. All I could think was “I think I can I think I can I think I can”. I had no idea what the story was about anymore. At all. So it was fun to revisit it now as an adult. It holds up and frankly I think I remembered the important part!

New board book of edition of the classic take with charming illustrations by Loren Long.

Who didn't read this as a kid? It's the first self help book you ever read really.
