I continue to read these books because I like Sophie Kinsella's style, but I hate so many characters in this series!!! They frustrate me so much, but I continue to read because I'm intrigued to see what happens next.
I am not a fan of Becky Bloomwood. She is downright a doormat and she annoys me sometimes but I can't even pretend I don't like her. She is that baby of my aunt's who is cutest among all but always shits on me and always brings me chocolates.
Throughout the book it's the same pattern as the last two. Becky is not in debt though. This time she gets caught up in two weddings and can't decide which one to go for because both of her are dreams.
And they are my dreams too. With her you always feel like 'I have thought about this!'. Because Becky is relatable. She thinks like us. Her minds moves on shit like us after we have read some great novel and think we can change people and be noble until they tell you that your shoes are a disaster. *cough* Elinor*cough*.
Throughout the book I was annoyed with Becky because she can't possibly be at both and she just takes so many things just head on. Ugh. It makes me sick that she never stands up for herself but Kinsella always manages to make you happy with her ending and makes Bloomwood your favourite by that time. You are left confuse if you hate her not.
This is obviously well written if you haven't already gotten that from my ratings. The humour is good. I would pick it up and devour it down if I was even teeny bit of a fashion enthusiast.

This book really stressed me out. Like Becky's stress was giving me stress.
So the first two books were enjoyable and this one was okay. It just kind of got on my nerves. I mean Becky was probably the same indecisive, impulsive person she always was but instead of running from debt she was running from her wedding day.
As usual the scenario is pretty wild, I mean what are the odds that your parents want to plan a wedding for you in England but your fiance's mother wants to plan a wedding for you in New York? Not to mention the fact you go along with both of them because you can't make a decision? Even thinking about it again is stressing me out.
Honestly, Becky's indecisiveness and non-confrontational approach to this whole thing started to piss me off a bit, i mean I know she did the same thing with her debt but this was an even bigger level. And if I was her friend I would be yelling at her too.
Of course things work out in the end but it bothered me that it kind of resolved so quickly. I mean I think it would be better if they didn't get married at all and waited until the next book.
But yeah, I can't imagine what we get into next with Becky and Luke. I suppose Becky can't be dodging debt forever and we need something new but hopefully it's something a lot less stressful. At least for my piece of mind.
Side note: I think it's weird Suze married her cousin and I don't understand why that's just okay. Second of all I can't believe Luke proposed to Becky at Suze's wedding, I would hate if someone did that to me, at least propose the day after or something lol.

This one is a bit more frustrating than the previous 2 books. The "misunderstanding" that's driving the plot has larger consequences , so even though we know everything will turn out fine in the end, it's pretty cringe before we get there.
Still think these books are hilarious and I'll keep reading them.
