This book is light hearted, easy to read, and an important read for young women. This has a lot of great tips and ideas and way to be your best professional self. This would be a great gift for a college graduate.

I love Beyoncé but let’s be real - Bennett got a bit lazy with using her as nearly the only current example of a strong feminist in the public eye

The word play in this books makes me gag. I think shit like that distracts from the actual legitimate issues and just isn't necessary.

Besides that, this book didn't really give me anything I wasn't already aware of, but I could see it being a very useful tool for white collar women entering the work force.

I was really excited to read this book as I am part of a feminist fight club group. It had well researched points about sexism in the workplace and some tips about asserting oneself, etc. It was kind of feminism 101 and heteronormative. It is primarily looking at office jobs and I honestly found it a little boring but the ideas are important to keep exploring.

Quick read! Fired me up. Minus one star for the trans exclusion.

I would say you should read this book if you are just starting off on your journey about learning about feminism. I would say this book doesn't provide anything further than what a quick google search could get you but could be a really foundational book for someone who needs to feel validated.

There was a lot of great information in this book, but the constant vagina related puns were kind of obnoxious. I'm not one of these people who gets offended by the word vagina, on the contrary I think we need to talk about it more, but when it comes to feminism focusing on people with vaginas sends the message that having one is what defines a woman. Cis folks need to remember that genitals don't define gender.
