Good book overall. Some of the advice seemed to be playing the game rather than creating a new, better system. The book contains helpful statistics and is empowering overall even if a bit hard to relate to as someone who has always been a student or in government work rather than the corporate world. Made me proud to run a women's book club and to have once let a bureau director know it wasn't OK for him to call me kiddo.
Good advice. Leaves you feel like you have an empowerment toolkit.
Mocno realia amerykanskie. Troche przydatnych tipow jednak jest. I lekko napisane, wiec mozna.
Great advice, but I found the way it was written a little annoying at times.
The research for some choices was good but also parts were offensive like saying what spirit animal a kind of office bro was.
I think a tool to help implement these suggestions, particularly if they could be more intersectional, would be great.

DNF'ed at a bit over 50 pages in. For a book about feminism there is a lot of the writers internal misogyny showing tyhrough. What do you mean women can't like going to the shooting range or understand what a slam dunk is.
Some of the tips were manipulative, hello telling women to pretend they can't do something to get out of it, or just psychologically damaging.
All the good tips in the world can't make up for the bad in this case, a hard pass for me.

The good - This book celebrates the power of female friendship and gives actionable ways for everyone to combat sexism.
The bad - written by someone who definitely thought Lean In was ground-breaking. If you know what I'm talking about, then best to move on to some Roxanne Gay.

I really wanted to like this, but sadly very early on there is a TERF comment about membership being based on vaginas.
Feminism needs to be intersectional and trans women need to be included and accepted as women in order for that to happen. Having a vagina does not define someone as a woman, let alone their ability to be feminist.
