I really enjoyed it, but I do normally enjoy reading about flawed characters anyway. Part 3 was really good, I feel like my reaction to the stories and characters tells more about myself than about them. I especially liked the dynamics between the characters and their origins: one from Ireland, one from HK, and one British (former colonizer), as well as the MCs linguistic metaphors!

Interesting at the beginning, but the characters were very one-dimensional and Hongkong is not of any meaning to the story at all. I became a bit bored quite quickly. A suitable recommendation for people who like Sally Rooney's Conversations With Friends and I personally think it was better. But I had a hard time to understand Eva's behaviour and decisions and the author didn't put any effort into making her motivations plausible.
