I have to say I am loving these Wickeds. I love a romance that is pretty low angst in the focal relationship. There are things that interfere with these two but it is not something that is related to miscommunication I really loved Maverick and his family.

Melissa Foster's talent to write sweet romance with an edge is vast. A Little Bit Wicked is no different. However, this was my first foray into the Whiskeys or Wicked MC club genre. I have read several of her Bayside novels, and the inter-connectedness of all her series is engaging. Not to mention that it makes me want to read all the stories. We have interacted with Justin and Chloe in previous works, and this is their time to shine.

Justin is bound and determined he is going to get Chloe. He just has to convince her. She's balking. Her childhood with a disengaged mother and living with her mother's choices have put Chloe on a path she feels she needs. Justin's childhood with not so good parents left him as the adopted son of the Wickeds. Both have similar backgrounds; they are trying to outgrow and stop a cycle of dysfunction.

It takes some doing, but Chloe wakes up to the beauty of Justin and a relationship with him. When they discover that though appearances may peg them at opposite ends of the spectrum, they actually are very similar individuals. Not only are their backgrounds similar, but they also have the same desires and dreams. This story unfolds from there very pleasantly as we watch their relationship grow. I do have to say Justin is one of the most outwardly romantic heroes I have read in a long time. His birthday surprise for Chloe was epic. You should read the book just for the birthday scene. And let's not forget the sand. No, really, you need to read this book for the romantic gestures from this guy.

I am glad to get the feeling this is the first in several books about Justin's family. They seem to be an exciting and engaging lot, and I'm sure their stories of finding their happily ever afters will be just as enjoyable as Justin and Chloe's.

The moment I started this book I knew that I was going to completely fall in love with it. The characters, the story and just the overall family love that comes from the pages is amazing.

Chloe and Justin are opposites yet there is just something about them that works. You can feel their chemistry from the very beginning and it only continued to grow more and more as their story progressed. I loved their friendship and the flirting at the beginning. It was sweet and sometimes funny.

Justin and Chloe both came from broken pasts, but have both slowly overcome those. I felt for Chloe, especially as her story unraveled. I also felt for Justin, because I couldn’t imagine experiencing what he did at such a young age. I love watching them come together and be the love and support they both needed.

A Little Bit Wicked is a story full of love, laughs and plenty of family moments. A MUST READ!

Definitely not a slow burn, but after reading way to many books, I expect something bad to happen as well

The Dark Knights have rolled into Bayside in A Little Bit Wicked which is a wickedly sexy friends to lovers, opposites attract love story told in the third person point of view and is part of the large Love in Bloom world.

                             description

Justin had a rough time growing up after his mother passed away and his father turned into a thief. Rob “Preacher” & Reba Wicked took Justin into their home, raised him as one of their own and taught him the true meaning of family. Chloe had a rough upbringing dealing with her mother and her revolving door of boyfriends as well as make sure her sister, Serena was safe. Justin has wanted Chloe since the day he saw her but Chloe has put him in the friend zone as she does not want to get involved with someone who looks likes they just walked out of her past. Justin is determined to prove to Chloe that he is not who she thinks he is and that they are meant to be together.

Melissa Foster has come through again with another heartwarming, funny, big family romance. A Little Bit Wicked is the beginning of The Wickeds series but also interconnects with The Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor and the Bayside crew. I was so happy to see Justin and Chloe finally come together and get their HEA as it has been a long time coming. Whenever I heard Justin’s Dark Knight name, Maverick I kept hearing “Highway to the Danger Zone” in my head and had the urge to watch Top Gun, lol. As always I will now be patiently waiting for the next addition to Melissa Fosters Love in Bloom world!

I will be honest in that this won’t be a full-length review, I have quite a migraine building but I wanted to share my thoughts on this book with you. I would like to mention that this book wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for which is why it’s a four-star but I still had quite a blast with this one. I just didn’t find myself fully engaged as I normally am with this author and her books. I am not sure if it was just the setup of the story that just didn’t quite work out for me or not. So it did take a while for me to be fully engaged within the story. I was interested in the story and seeing how this would be all adapted and seeing these characters really come together. We have our main couple which is Justin and Chloe. Justin is a bad boy biker who is flirty and has been trying to get Chloe to take him seriously. But seriously has a past that warns her off from anyone that could be a bad boy or appears to be. We see how hard Justin has to work to get under Chloe’s skin and wear down her resistance. There is strong chemistry between them, but Justin knows he just needs to be patient. And when that moment happens when she does let down her guard and trust that Justin won’t hurt or betray her, was such a beautifully captured moment. The way that Justin and Chloe learn each other forms those intimate bonds that go deeper than friendship, and also face some struggles along the way and come through on top with flying colors was such a journey to see. This book had me in TEARS though so just fair warning, Melissa Foster works her intensity in this story, especially in the latter half. I am so eager to get more of this family and all the sibling antics and the teasers we received for future books.

Overall I found A Little Bit Wicked to be a sassy, light yet edgy romance that worked its way into my heart and delivered in the range of emotions from crying buckets of tears to laughing hysterically. A TRUE GRITTY GEM TO MARVEL IN!

The Wickeds Book One.
While this can be read as the first in a new series, I highly recommend reading the preceding series. The characters will make a lot more sense.

Chloe Mallery loves her job at Lower Cape Assisted Living Facility (LOCAL) and her scrapbooking hobby. She is happiest around her sister and the elders she works with, but Justin Wicked is determined to prove to her that he isn't like the men of her past. Justin might be in a motorcycle club and seem like a rough, dangerous man, but his club is community minded and protective of those in their circle. Chloe might not see it yet, but Justin fell for her a long time ago.

If you're looking for a biker with a heart of gold and the woman who slayed him, this is the book for you!
