Insanely addictive, corrupt, vindictive, ice cold, beautiful, completely emotional and told with a flair for the extreme in a way only LJ Shen can deliver. It's the MORE you have been searching for in teen romance. Told under a dark veil of raw unencumbered realness that has you absolutely begging for more. A classic tale of a thin line between love and hate, except classic isn't the way Ms. Shen plays, she takes those roles and defies everything you thought you wanted, takes you on a journey filled with every emotion you can imagine. Players you thought couldn't let you down...might, expectations exceed while others fall below the zero line. A view into the elite that leaves all exposed, raw, real and so damaged you don't know where to hang your alliances. Totholes with gaping cracks in their hearts that only themselves can heal. I loved every fucking second of this book.

Daria and Penn = Angsty AF but MFEO
This story is filled to the brim with angst and trepidation. Daria and Penn share one sweet, innocent moment that plays a role in changing the trajectory of so many lives. Years later, mix together the death of a mother, popularity, a creepy principle and a little forced proximity… and you get the drama filled story of how Daria and Penn’s lives are meant to be entangled.
I enjoyed this book as a whole, and I enjoyed the characters within too. Just when you think you don’t like a character, something happens that gives you a different perspective & a different opinion. The author does a great job of pulling you into the drama and holding you there with your eyes open to watch it all unfold.

I've recently re-read (most) of the original Sinners Of Saints series (I'll get to you Bane...soon) because this is hands down one of my most anticipated releases of the year.
It didn't let me down. Although one character did and how.
Daria didn't let me down. In Scandalous we all knew she was going to be trouble and she was. I laughed out loud a few times (not at anything funny per se, but at the antics of the Tot-holes)
I'm back to counting down the days until Knight's book comes out. I'll be re-reading this and the HotHoles again before it happens.

Heartbreakingly beautiful!
This story is raw. Real. Emotion filled. The real world. It was heartbreaking to see where those Scully kids came from. It was heartbreaking when Daria felt she wasn’t enough. It’s was beautiful because of the journey all the characters took over the pages of this book. Beautiful because Penn and Daria didn’t give up on each other. It’s was beautiful to see how the other Totholes supported Daria.

plot was super convoluted and ridiculous and there was no tough justice for via which i resented, butttt holy shit i'm in love with penn and daria and these to were enemies to lovers on CRACK COCAINE, like wow. daria's struggles were heart breakingly relatable and was reminiscent of ryen from [b:Punk 57|41021967|Punk 57|Penelope Douglas|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1533139999l/41021967._SY75_.jpg|49343156]. i wished we had a little more steam from the main couple and got to see them getting hot and heavy somewhere outside of the house or the forest, okay, yes, i wanted a cute date by the ocean or something. loved jaime and daria's relationship and even grew to care for mel.
overall, addictive, dramatic and sooooo fucking romantic, but goddamn, LJ please outline your plots rather than stringing together nonsensical plot points that just got more and more convoluted and ridiculous!!

“Behind every untrusting girl is a boy who made her that way”
I didn’t expect to like it. Honestly I thought it was going to be an easy-read. I liked this so much.
Daria is an amazing character. She is flawed, angry, mean. She is so different from goody characters who are nice in every fucking situation. I loved her.

**spoiler alert** Daria definitely has her reasons to be hateful. When your mom chooses everyone but you it’s easy to see that she’s acting out because she wants her mom’s attention.
Her dad really stepped in for her in the end but he should have also been her ally the whole time.
And the way Penn saw what has happening instantly and helped her even though he had the biggest reason to hate her really shows he fell for her at 14.
