As someone who hates bully romance, that part of this book wasn’t bad. I quite liked it.

I was a sucker for this story. I was hesitant. I’m not a fan of the bully HS trope. I feel like once you read one... you have read them all. But this was so different that the couple while awesome didn’t hold a candle to the world around them. I was sucked into the mystery and the characters and the mayhem!! Well written, solid characters, great story

What can I say other than these books are the equivalent of book crack and I’m now a junkie because god damn I couldn’t put these down. I wanted to hate the characters because their so young but no not happening the way they deal with everything thrown at them just made me cheer them on.

I'm not sure why I kept this on my tbr for so long and kept avoiding it. I'm not keen on heroine's that are overly aggressive or constantly argue and fight and from the description, I had assumed that's what you would get here. But that's not what this is AT ALL. I loved everything about this series! You have the reverse harem aspect which I've not read much of, but now plan to definitely spend more time with. You have Lips who is completely able to hold her own in almost any situation, but still shows a vulnerable, softer side at times. I loved all the antics and situations they found themselves in, even the darker and steamier aspects to this story. Is it completely unrealistic for kids of their age? Absolutely. But I was able to suspend disbelief and thoroughly immerse myself in this world and enjoy this story.
This book is all four Hannaford Prep books in one collection. The only thing I would note are the grammar issues that plague books 3 and 4. It's not extensive, but it's enough that I was slightly annoyed. I'm forgiving for new authors with first releases, but for a third and fourth book, these things should be caught with a good proofreader, and considering this is a collection and not the first time they are being published, they just shouldn't have been there at all. That being said, this is clearly still a 5 star read for me!

Gets better and better
My second time reading this series and it was well worth it! The box set has little extra snippets from the guys and I LOVED it! Lips is a bada$$ and I love that too. I hate a weak female lead, and she is definitely NOT that! The guys are hot as heck and I can’t WAIT for averys story!! Pick this series up, seriously!
Side note: this is a dark bully romance. Murder and such are very common, do not go into this series if that’s something you can’t handle.
