Love this series but forever reading it as college-aged main characters!

Lips is and forever will be my all time favorite bada** babe and girl crush. She is ruthless when needs to be but has a heart and a definite soft spot for Avery! Two women that are complete opposite but my the ultimate BFF squad. Throughout the series we get to see Lips’s relationship with Ash, Harley, Blaise and we are just how much everyone is willing to do to protect one another. The twists and turns that apprise throughout the entire series will keep you guessing until the very end. There is really no point in even trying to figure out where J Bree is going with the story because she is a complete master mind of epic proportion. I would seriously love to be inside her mind to watch her process in coming up with the stories that she does! The Hannaford Prep Series is one of those series that stays in your heart forever and one that you will go back and re-read multiple times because you miss the charters and their world!

Wow! This was my first read of anything by J Bree and holy crap is she talented! I love Lips and her relationship with each of the guys and how they revolve throughout the books. Lips and Avery’s friendship is probably one of my favorite friendships in any book I’ve ever read. Lips’ friendship with Illi and later Harvey and then Avery’s friendships with Illi are amazing.
I love that parts of this story continue on in Avery’s series and can’t wait to see what else J Bree has in store for us!!

10/5 stars easily!

Holy moly this series was a crazy whirlwind that I loved every single second of! I can’t believe it’s over and how much happened throughout. I loved Lips and her men and all of the amazing side characters that were just as important and I can’t wait to read their books including the ice queen Avery

This series starts out as a bully high school romance but it’s so much more than that and included a** hole boys who seem to never have to lift a finger and a girl who had to work her way to the top with her bare hands but it’s so much more than that and assumptions are wrong. There’s twists and turns and so much angst along the way. The build up between the characters is so spicy it’s amazing. I’m so sad to have finished but I loved every second!

Instead of just reading the first book, I just went ahead and decided I would read all four books at once. So this review will be about the whole Hannaford Prep series as a whole. This is a dark series, very violent, and if I hadn’t just read Den of Vipers, I would say it is the most violent.

The story centers around Lips. The first book is mostly about her being bullied by Harley, Blaise, and Ash. It was your basic high school bully story – and even in the first book in the Hannaford Prep series, there isn’t even a romance. The first book sets up the series, and it isn’t until book two that stuff really starts happening. Lips and her bullies come to an understanding, and we start to learn more about lips and who she really is, and this continues in books three and four.

To really enjoy this, you need to read the whole series. The boys really grew on me as I read through the books, as did the wonderful cast of side characters. Though I have to admit, Avery is my favorite. To echo a sentiment Lips mentions several times, I would marry Avery in a second if I were into girls.

Let me reiterate this book is DARK. There is basically every trigger ever in this book. There are a lot of parts that are hard to read. But I enjoyed this story, and I am very much looking forward to the spin-off I think is coming soon.
