Review for Dogwalker and the Prince by Nora Flite

Once you put aside just how massively unrealistic the plot is, this is actually quite an entertaining story.

It's short but fun, was very well written and had some good plot twists. Both Nellie and Bishop were likeable characters and the chemistry between them was very hot and totally believable. In some ways it was a little too insta-love for my liking but then the book took a turn and had their relationship develop over a longer period of time.

It's written first person, mainly from Nellie's POV but with enough chapters from Bishop's perspective to allow us to get to know him too. My only 'criticism' (if you could even call it that) would be that Bishop wasn't really a bad boy at all, he was actually a very sweet, if dirty mouthed, hot, lovable alpha male.

If the other books are like this it should be a fun read.

So far, so good

This review is for Her Royal. Master by Renee Rose.

Darius and Chelsea were combustible. They saw something in one another that no one else saw. They could be vulnerable with each other while being each other's strength and support.

Darius was s dominant who recognized Chelsea as a submissive as well as recognizing she was unaware that she was submissive.

They work through their individual baggage while learning to trust. This can be read in one sitting. The different dynamics are interesting.

I will update as I finish more of the books. I have only read the first three, and so far they have been pretty good. They have been entertaining and not really quick reads.

This was a really nice box set! Most of these authors were new to me, but these stories were good. The writing flowed well, and I liked most of the characters. I'm not a fan of MFM stories, so I skipped those. Other than that, I thought this was well worth the money!

This review is for Decadence by Jennifer Bene.

Jennifer is the QUEEN of novellas. I have no idea how she does it in such short books, but she writes such good stories with actual character development and interesting storylines. This one was no exception. I really liked Aubrey as a character. Plus that party scene? Crazy hot. Highly recommend!

This was my first time reading books from the authors and I really enjoy reading them.. They were hot and sexy short story's.. But wanted to read more from these authors.. I loved all the story's but my favorite one was Mafia Princess because I kind have a thing for mafia books.. But you should read this when it comes out..❤

I haven't read all of the stories in this anthology but was given a mini-ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Included in my ARC were the following:-
- Bad Boys & Bourbon by Alta Hensley - At first I wasn't sure I was going to like this. I had trouble liking the characters but by about half way through I was hooked. Both the premise & the characters were original & by the end I had trouble deciding which character I liked best.
- Royally F**ked by Lee Savino - redemption of a manchild. Interesting writing (as always from this author) with great characters.
- Mafia Princess by Natasha Knight - I hadn't read anything from this author before so was unsure of what to expect. This story had a darker feel to than the others but a great story. Even though mafia stories don't really do much for me, I really enjoyed reading this from the Hero's point of view
- Decadence by Jennifer Bene - love isn't always hearts & flowers & gentle touches. Sometimes love is being able to love someone in the way that they need.
- Royalty, American Style by Livia Grant - another quality read with a large part told from the man's point of view. Interesting take on our reality tv obsession.

I think it's unrealistic to expect to love every story you read in an anthology such as this & while not all of the stories that I did read are my favoured style, they were all enjoyable, well-written & interesting. I also really liked that 'royalty' didn't just refer to monarchies but took a broader view.

Review for The Dog walker & the Prince by Nora Flite.

This was actually a really good short read. Nellie and Bishop meet when Nellie shows up at his home looking for a job walking his mother's dogs. I love the names of the dogs, Jaws and Cujo. It turns out Bishop is a prince who's not afraid to go after what he wants, and he wants Nellie. Nellie just got out of a bad relationship and doesn't want anything to do with guys, especially a guy with an ego as big as Bishop's. However Bishop needs something and he wants Nellie to help him with it. Even with his cocky attitude I really liked Bishop from the beginning. He seemed stuck in his life and was just waiting for something, or someone, to help wake him up. Nellie was sweet and caring, especially when it came to the dogs. However I kept wanting to kick her in the butt and tell her to pay attention to her surroundings. If she had done that she would have figured out that something wasn't right before she freaked out. But then again, how would that have helped the story. I give this short 4 stars. I voluntarily read an advanced copy for an honest review.

Review for Shear Heaven by Katy Regnery

If I didn't know beforehand that this was a novella, I NEVER would've guessed. Shear Heaven made me a complete MESS. Not only was it a modern retelling of Rapunzel, but also combined with Romeo and Juliet. The love between Nico and Bella was so POWERFUL it brought tears to my eyes. I don't re-read books, but I might have to re-read Shear Heaven until Katy graces us with her next Fairytale.
