I've had this book since it released and I just BARELY read it, I don't know what's wrong with me, this book was AWESOME.
I would give the storyline 5 stars, but the main character, Grace, annoys me too much! Enough whining and self-loathing! Move on already!

So in my opinion this sequel to "All Fall Down" was soooo much better than the first book. The first book took a few chapters to catch its stride, but "See How they Run" definitely hit the ground running. The stakes were definitely upped in this novel, and the narrator was more coherent. There was more of a conspiracy/thriller feel to this novel, which was an improvement over the slower first book.
I love this plot and action. Full of twists and drama. It is a bit of an easier reading level, but it is very entertaining. Once again, the plot is just so different from things I’ve read before! I would say that sometimes the lean into the main characters struggle seemed belittling, but nothing too bad. Overall, I’m glad I finally got to read this book!
No one is all good, none all bad. Nothing can be trusted.... because it will all end in twisty cliffhanger! Though it's Ally Carter, so of course there's some literal cliffhanging too. And some good politics, and my favorite description of [spoiler] librarians in ages. Worth reading & I'll be watching for the sequel.
DID NOT EXPECT THE ENDING! Incredible! Once again I am left amazed!
