This series lost me. I forced myself to finish this book, but it was boring!

Well, well, well, so very much happens in this book.
I don’t really know where to start. I am shocked and awed by a lot of it.
I am also confused and disgruntled to, Lissa, Dimitri, Christian, Rose, The Queen. You are like huh and what and why and oooohhhh.. haha
I know this review really isn't making a lot of sense but if you have read this book you probably understand what I am feeling.
You want to root for one person but you find yourself rooting for someone else then you’re like what? Wait, no really? Yeah I had all those emotions and so much more.
I guess I am happy with how most of it has turned out and saddened too. Rose has been through sooo much is it too hard to give the girl a break I mean really.
I am starting the last of the books because now I want a HEA and someone to make me feel less confused. I know the last book well heal my mind!

This series has really gone from strength to strength and I cannot wait for the finale. Rose is an incredible character - flawed, likeable and powerful, continually finding herself trapped in impossible situations but never losing her optimism or determination. She's a great role model and it's encouraging to see a female first person lead in YA fiction who isn't just pining over her boyfriend.
And what a cliff hanger! I hope the characters I have grown to love over the past five books will get a happy ending of some description, although part of the beauty of the series is how unpredictable it can be. Still, like Rose, I'll keep my optimism!
