i liked this book but it’s so painfully slow in some parts it really didn’t pick up until like 150 pages in which was pretty disappointing and the end twist about lissas dad was very expected and not a surprise in the slightest
also rose treated adrian like shit for this entire book which was just wholly unnecessary like their relationship could’ve just been cut out and it would be no different at all

This book had me biting my nails and dreading the end. Mead really likes to end her books with a "cliffhanger." My heart kept breaking for both Rose and Adrian. Don't even get me started with the whole Rose-Dimitri situation. I literally screamed when he came back and then almost cried when I found out how he felt about Rose. Yes, I have way too much emotion invested in this series. lol
