challenging emotional funny

Pretty good story line I think this is the third book in series

#2 in the series.
I was desperate for something fun and light.  Too much to listen to all of the dead Natives (which was the book that I was listening to)…  So, still dead people, but they were doing bad things and died accidentally…

Plowed through 2 just to give myself something a little lighter…

it took me a while to get into this one, but it was a fun time. if you're looking for realism, this isn't the book for you, but i enjoyed the silliness and wild storylines. i didn't really care for the 'love triangle', but it didn't detract from the rest of the story. i've heard things get more and more implasuble, and i didn't find the cliffhanger as interesting as the last book, so i'm not sure if i'll keep going with the series.

This was ok - I really didn’t care for the first one, but I found this one a bit more palatable. In general both stories seemed unreasonably far fetched, and the relationship between Finlay and Vero doesn’t do it for me. I’m not sure I’ll bother reading the next one, but it was a decently fun read.

The second book in the Finlay Donavan series is more of the charming and cozy vibes of the first book. Much like the first one, I thought this book was easy to consume and entertaining. I like the characters and enjoy the antics that Finlay gets in to, even if you have to suspend your disbelief a lot of the time. Overall it is was a fun time and I’m looking forward to the next book.
