I can’t believe the whole book was dedicated to her protecting her gross ex-husband lmao like girl just let it happen, he made his bed let him sleep in it 🙄

I did like the twist with the mom at the end though, that had me cackling lmao.

also I just want her to pick a man!! I’m over the love triangle, it’s so unserious lmao.

I don’t think this series is for me; it’s just sooo over the top that I feel like it doesn’t read as a cozy mystery or a more traditional mystery, and while the books are def bingeable, they’re just missing a certain charm that keeps me wanting to come back. I also find myself annoyed with the situations Finlay gets herself into, including with her love interests tbh. Like, girl, you do a lot of this to yourself!!
