I felt this book failed to live up to its potential. I really enjoyed the previous high republic book in this category, ‘A Test of Courage’, and was hoping this would be a similar experience. Unfortunately, I found this book to only be an okay read that fills in some gaps from other stories but doesn’t achieve much more and certainly isn’t notable on its own merits.

A very cute story, love how it fits into the larger narrative. Each major character has to overcome theor own challenges as they try to help everyone. Love the autistic rep by one of the Padawans!

I thought this book was great, considering what it was. This is intended for younger audiences, but I did still enjoy it. I just missed some of the action and high tension from some of the other High Republic books so far.
