My second favorite Shakespeare play!! I love this - it’s so funny and whimsical, and super gay (I will die on this hill)
TLDR: Pretty solid for a Shakespeare read.
Longer Review: The story is pretty funny and I didn't find it difficult to understand compared to some other Shakespeare plays I have read. Here are some quotes I liked:
"Why, 'some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrown upon them.'"
"There is no woman's sides can bide the beating of so strong a passion as love doth gibe my heart: no woman's heart so big to hold so much; they lack retention. Alas, their love may be called appetite,-no motion of the liver, but the palate,-that suffer surfeit, cloyment, and revolt; but mine is all as hungry as the sea, and can digest as much: make no compare between that love a woman can bear me and that I owe Olivia."
"Foes tell me plainly I am an ass: so that by my foes, sir, I profit in the knowledge of myself, and by my friends I am abused: so that, conclusions to be as kisses, if your four negatives make your two affirmatives, why then, the worse for my friends and the better for my foes."

Shoutout to Midsummer, but I think this may be his strongest comedy. The plot points are just so interesting, complex, and influential.
