I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this manga, but I wanted to give it a chance because it was about the everyday life of a witch.
While there wasn't a lot of action or things actually happening, I liked how it introduced the aspects of a witch that many people don't think about.
Non-flashy magic and growing herbs and vegetables, taking care of the earth and just living, actually. Doing your best to help.
The art was so-and-so. Nothing amazing, but ok. It is just the kind of art I'd expect for a simple, but cute, manga, and this was rather cute.
I'm considering buying the next volume when I have the chance.

Cute, light-hearted fantasy slice-of-life. Think Kiki’s Delivery Service or Totoro.
A super cute start to a series about a witch-in-training living with her relatives to learn what normal life is like while also learning to fully utilize her abilities. More about her interactions with normal people.
Relaxing, charming, sort of magical realism. Had a pleasant feel.

I watched the anime for this back when it came now, and it's so fun to go back and read the manga now. Flying Witch is a very silly, slow paced collection of stories, very "slice of life", with some cute characters doing cute and funny things.
Pretty, clean artwork and interesting but there’s doesn’t seem to really be any type of conflict so I’m not sure where this is going? I’m interested enough to read more and give it a chance though.
