Cute, fun, I’m intrigued. I love cats and witches so may continue if I can borrow volumes from the library, I don’t think I’m sold enough yet for the commitment of buying based on the first entry.

Not sure about that one, it’s not bad but nothing really happens either. The story is ok so far, but not interesting enough to make me pick up the other books in the series. It’s currently available on KindleUnlimited, that’s how I found it.
Slow paced, but cute
I tried watching the anime years ago and lost interest. The story definitely works much better as manga. My biggest complaint with the series is true for the original manga as well, though: Everybody is more interesting than Makoto. Each visitor, each discovery is far more fascinating than the main character. Even the little sister has more personality. However, if you are looking for a slice-of-life story that slowly introduces you to an amazing, magical world, then this series won't disappoint.

This is an enjoyable manga opener, and great for those new to reading manga--the lettering is easy to read, the sequence flows, and the story is well-explained--no need to try to figure out just what exactly is supposed to be happening.
I like the premise, but it's slow and without conflict. The humans aren't my style, but the birds are beautiful.
This was really cute! And I can relate to Makoto because I have no sense of direction for the most part. I liked the little bit of a spooky vibe but also very wholesome. I’m glad Kindle Unlimited had this manga so I could check it out! I’ll definitely check out the next volume in this series!
The artwork was cute, the plot was quaint yet largely uneventful. Just a slice of life set up with the barest hint of magic.

This book was so boring. I can see some readers liking it, as it is a character study of a new witch coming into her powers and moving in with extended family. But for this reader, the book spent way too much time telling you the main character had no sense of direction and would frequently get lost. That was most of the story. The Harbinger of Spring was the most exciting part of the story. Overall this book was just blaaaahhhhh……………..
