Quite a peaceful read. Not a lot of drama just a glimpse into the life of young girl who is studying to become a witch. I really enjoyed it. Fast read.

I love Flying Witch. The anime is totally adorable and convinced me to read the manga. I love it. I'm looking forward to reading every volume that comes out of the series.
This is the first in a manga series that follows a young witch as she comes into her powers.
I'm honestly very sad that I didn't love this. I felt that not enough happened in the first volume to hook me into the story, and there were also a lot of problematic lines regarding weight and fat-shaming. There was also a line saying that the main character owns a lot of things because it's "just right for a girl. I also didn't like any of the characters and I felt like there was no plot. Like at all.
The only thing I enjoyed was the art and the cat so unfortunately, I didn't love this.

Cute and quiet, a little average, but I think I'll at least continue on with the next volume.
This was cute and a quick read. I recommend this if you’re looking for some light slice of life with a bit of a supernatural twist to it. If you like non non biyori or laid back camp you’ll like this.
