Changing my rating to 3.5-4 stars

This is a really cute story about a teenaged witch who is learning more about life alongside her cousins and her familiar Chito.

The story itself is very relaxed as we follow Makoto through her day to day life, trying to get a herb garden started, going to school, making friends, learning to be a witch, you know. All the normal teen stuff.

Chito the cat is adorable (and so is Kenny the cat) and I wish I could talk to my own cats like that!

I usually prefer more action packed manga (hence my initial star rating of 3) but I will definitely continue on with this series when I'm in the mood for something relaxing and cute.

Nothing really happened in this book after page 7 but it has a cozy atmosphere and cute characters. It's not THE manga series you need to check out ASAP, but I still really liked it and had a nice time reading it.

Cute!

I first watched the anime on Crunchyroll, and this first volume follows the first few episodes fairly close. This is another adorable slice-of-life manga that just happens to be about a young witch and her family. Recommended for manga fans and readers looking for a lighthearted story that goes at its own pace.

Super light. Cute. The first chapter was delightful, but I don't think I'll finish the series if the formula is fixated on constantly introducing new witches. I get that probably sounds great, but I'd prefer to spend more time following the main character's story.

The art is simple but cute, and I adore the premise... not much really happens, though. Slow pacing in a slice-of-life is fine but there isn't much to get me attached to the characters.

The real dealbreaker here is the localization. It reads like a direct translation from Japanese, not like English. This means most of the dialogue feels stiff and unnatural, and doesn't convey character well. I was really disappointed to read this in a printed manga.

Sweet, light and fluffy... Just what I needed. :)

This is a really cute manga, about the gentle daily life of a young witch and her everyday adventures. It really loved the anime, so I enjoyed this volume even though there wasn't any new material in it, simply for a chance to revisit this world. I think it's the overall calm that everyone has, as they enjoy their lives, that really attracts me here.

This was pretty cute but nothing really unique. I'll continue on to the next volume.

2nd read. This was fun. I remembered nothing. It was very cute and funny.

Real cute every day witchery. I enjoyed it. The relationships between characters are cute and quirky.
