I really don't know how to rate this book. It's it funny as hell for the first 50 pages and seems to repeat itself over and over again. Maybe it's just that I don't get the author. She creates excel lists about her crushes, I'm not sure if I ever had one. She shimmies sideways into casual relationships with friends, and I'm just not attracted to my friends that way. May be it's just that the title is great, but it's just not what this book is about, which she admits...
If you want to read the tales about how Blythe does, as she states, not date men, but sometimes questions if this is dating, when she meets up with men, garnished with a sharp societal commentary and over the top suggestion on how one could handle that romance stuff laced with copious amounts of book recommendations, this is great.
If you expect any insight on how to date men as individual in a patriachy that is opressing women or on how to date men when you came to the conclusion that lots of them are just very weird and occasionally quite creepy, it really won't help.

I wish every straight, white, feminist was Blythe Roberson.

This is a book about a woman who is in fact obsessed with men. She’s in her 20’s and sounds like it. Lots of One Direction references and other teeny bopper celebrities I know nothing about.
I think I would have enjoyed this more had I been 10 years younger and boy crazy. The click bait title is most likely the reason for poor reviews. The title generates the wrong audience for this book.
