I definitely got the friend vibe from these two, but I wasn't feeling any chemistry. Maybe if it'd been longer, so the friendship could have developed into more?! But I didn't buy Peter deciding he's bi so easily and I didn't get Evan trying to force the issue either with that kiss. I felt like everything resolved too quickly and perfectly (Peter deciding he was bi and Evan's thing with Joey) so that the book could end. And OMG did I cry... poor Harry!

Cute. I had the same problem I do with other short books ("I love you" after 4 weeks seems... ?_?) but is was cute.

Having recently lost a pet, parts of the beginning of the story was hard, but I really enjoyed watching Peter fall in love with Evan despite Peter's heterosexuality. I thought the gfy trope was done well and I am looking forward to the other stories in the series.

3.5 stars - This was short and sweet story. It made me smile but also brought tears to my eyes in a couple of places. The romance and the characters were great, I just wish that it had been longer.

I love GFY. If you know me, you know it's my favorite sub-genre. This was a really sweet friends-to-lovers story. The sexual tension was just enough to keep it interesting and I loved both Peter and Evan. Definitely a hard read if you're getting over the loss of a pet (I'll admit to a few sniffles over Harry.) But I loved the rest of the bookl

Despite the sad tale of Harry, I enjoyed this shortish, fun read. Light, not too serious, nice for a read when you don't want too much angst and a nice story

This was a very, very sweet GFY. There is a slow building relationship with lovely characters that develop beautifully in the story. I found Peter's responses to his unexpected attraction to Evan very well done. Evan was (apart from a minor hiccup) was sympathetic as well.

The story is sweet and quite romantic. It has a pacing that I find very consistent with the length of the book. Of course I would have preferred it to be a lot longer, but then I'm always greedy like that!

An enjoyable quick read apart from the beginning that had me reaching for the tissue box.

Oh My Goodness...the beginning of the book? There were tears!

After the initial lachrymosity this book just settled into the warm-fuzzies! What a treat!

Things moved quickly between Peter and Evan, but it felt like they arrived at friendship before they arrived at sex. I look forward to more books in this series.
