Quite creepy fairy/ ghost book.

Tanya has a 'gift' - she has second sight and can see fairies, which isn't always a good thing. An enjoyable read and I will probably read the others in the series, have always been a fan of fairy stories.

This was not what I had expected. It's a very dark fairy tale. The storyline did keep my attention and kept me wondering what would happen next. There are a lot of "traditional" details about fairies throughout the story.

I stumbled across this series in a charity shop and was immediately transported back to my childhood. I just had to re-read them! These books hold a dear place in my heart and shaped my love of the Fae when I first read them (when I was about 13).

This was the book that made me fall in love with fantasy books. I strongly recommend!

This is a 3.5 stars for me. It's a fun adventure with fairies and goblins, but parts of the story don't flow evenly. Like when Tanya finds a book about faeries and gets all her info how to protect herself; she never thought to look for anything like that?

the ending felt a bit rushed, and I had to read a couple of paragraphs over again to get what was going on, but overall a good strong fantasy with both girl and boy protagonists, adventure and a complete ending.

Tried. Couldn't get into it.
