Bound by honor was one of my first mafia read that wasn’t fanfiction. And I like it enough to continue the series. Then I got to bound by hatred and it’s only one of my favs I continue to re read. So when I saw she continued with the offsprings of the bound and twisted and interconnected them I was excited. And this one didn’t disappoint. So far after reading about Marcella and Maddox I cannot wait for the rest. I really like and didn’t expect anything less from Marcella she is the badass daughter of a capo and looks of her mother. And I love how maddox didn’t back down from Luca. But what a cliffhanger, I can’t believe it there has to be reason why he left.
Marcella is everything! I absolutely love her Vitello fire! Cora did not disappoint with this book and I loved being back in their world! Fantastic!
2,5/3 stars
all cora reilly’s books are literally the same, just with different characters. this was just remo & serafina in different clothes.

I'm a huge Mafia romance fan, they will always have my heart. But I am also a huge Cora Reilly mafia fan. I think her mafia books were the first I ever read, and I fell in love with that dark world.
This story did not disappoint, we once again meet Luca and Aria. But Luca is a bit sweeter in this book, and not as dark, harsh and ...well Luca. This story is the start of the new generation. Marcella (Luca's daughter) was awesome. She was unhinged in a way, strong, and so courageous. This woman knows how to fight a fight and if she fails she will die trying.
If you've followed my reviews or my Instagram, you might know that I love the forced proximity trope aaaand the kidnapping trope in mafia romances. We get both of those in this book. I didn't expect to like Maddox as much as I did. He started off fueled by revenge (which is understandable with his past) but falling in love with the enemies daughter and admitting it, takes a lot of bravery. The fun thing with Maddox is that he doesn't have a filter, he's so vulgar and just well also unhinged.
The whole story was great, and I loved the relationship between all the characters. They went from hate to an understanding. I can't wait for the rest of this series and especially to read about Amo and Greta. I need to read about daddy Remo.

VERY underwhelming, but I see potential. Hopefully part two will be better.
