Beautiful story but I'm sad that Marci is not with Adamo. I really thought that they will be together haha. Marci is so strong just like her father. She won't bow down to anyone. Love this book couldn't wait for book 2

I went with zero expectations into this book and I can surely say Cora really did surprise me. Marcella Vitiello is a combination of beauty with brains, her strength and kindness reminds me of LucaAria. The way Marcella faced situations holding her head high being captive is really admirable. Vitiello's family moments are another highlight for this story and I love how we still got glimpse of LucaAria's love
Maddox White is a typical badboy whose life changed after witnessing the death of his father and gang in the hands of Luca Vitiello. The way Maddox stood by his morals, how he struggled between his hate for Luca and attraction for Marcella is so beautiful. He clearly know where his priorities stand.
Even though MarcellaMaddox story started with bickering, dislike yet they showed each other their vulnerability, strength which made them bring close to each other.
I am curious to see how Cora gonna shape their relationship after reading the cliffhanger because they've long way to go as a individuals but also a couple
