This book didn’t feel like a mafia or an MC book, it just felt off?
I liked Marcella, she’s different from a lot of Cora’s female mc’s. Maddox however, Idk how I feel about him. There’s nothing really interesting about him and their connection felt forced.

This book doesn’t need a part 2 I don’t know why Cora is dragging it out.

Also what was the need to repeat the word “cream” all the time??

I absolutely adored this book - read it one sitting (3 hours of looking down and neck cramps but so worth it!) Since I read Bound By Honor in early 2021, Cora Reilly has claimed the place in my heart reserved for my favourite author. This is the one fictional world that I will never get tired of, and I know that I'm going to be heartbroken when it ends.

I was ecstatic waiting for this series, and it did not disappoint (which is not surprising). The tension had me screaming, and it did give me Remo-Serafina vibes in some places (Remo and Serafina are the superior couple in this whole world in my opinion, so it was nice to see a similar storyline again). As always, it was a blessing to experience Luca and Aria's love dynamic again - they are the couple that started me on this journey, leaving me eternally grateful. The ending has left me insanely agitated - I am going to be impatiently waiting until December for Part 2 to be released. Other than that, 5 well deserved stars!
