At first I thought I wasn't getting anything from this & then it clicked! Now let's see what I can put into practice.
It’s really great to read something that cites the research in overwork and productivity and that helps you recognize that your patterns of overwork (brought to you by capitalism and time is money) are actually counter to being productive. My father always said, “take it easy. This book is a reminder to do just that.
Very readable book providing a counterargument for working less. Not exactly ground-breaking with it's content, and I didn't necessarily feel like the author's arguments were consistent throughout, but I enjoyed it overall.

Everyone who works in corporate America should read this immediately and then recommend it to at least 5 of their coworkers to read and pass on.
You don't need a whole book to tell you that overworking yourself can lead to health problems and stress you the f*ck out entirely. Less work and more leisure time would be awesome. Everyone knows that.
Still some good points and some interesting bits on the history of work. 2/5
