EYO WHAT THE F?!

WTF- all the warnings that this would be sooo taboo. Not.
What a disappointment.

Gah!

Writing was very immature. Characters were very immature. Ending was stupid. I question the depth of his love, given it takes him a few weeks or months to move on from the women who were “ his everything”

Heartbroken.

I read the Cane series just before starting this and I was disappointed. It all felt forced to me and I felt no connection between the two characters at all.

4.5 stars

That freaking epilogue killed me. I need book two because it can’t end that way!

Small spoiler... quit reading now.

I don’t have an issue with age gaps. That wasn’t the problem for it. It was the whole, ‘my best friends dad’ thing I was kind of icked out by. But overall it wasn’t too bad I guess.

Loved the book until the very end. Hopefully the second one goes how I want it to go.

I loved this book. Fell in love with the characters,Mr Black and Chloe, they had amazing chemistry, but I wasn't prepared for the ending, The author ruined it for me, had me sobbing at the end, I really wanted them to have their HAE. I don't know why it had the ending it did TBH, shame, would have been five stars else, but ending ruined it. Life sometimes doesn't always work out like we want it too, I get that, maybe that was what she was trying to get across, but sorry shanora Williams, I need my HAE.
