A cute, light and predictable read. Just what I was looking for! This is Book one of the series. This deals with love and loss, forgiveness and forming new friendships. I’m looking forward to reading book two.

The Inn at Rose Harbor by Debbie Macomber
Love this book just for the knitting mentioned and how I can totally relate to having more than 3 projects going at one time.
Jo Marie had relocated to run the existing B&B after her husband Paul passes away in the war.
The book follows her life and interactions with other local people and protectors.
Josh Weaver is a guest at the inn and is in town for just a few short days to reclaim things his step dad has kept at the family house. He is on his deathbed and a nearby neighbor has watched out for him for months.
He just wants his letterman jacket and his mom's bible.
Abby Kincaid is back in town after leaving when her girlfriend dies in a car crash that she was the driver. Her brother is getting married and her parents and aunts and uncles will also be at the wedding. She has a few chores, left undone to complete.
Seems as if Jo Marie will return for more guests. It's a house that leaves one in peace, all that cross its door.
Look visiting again with just a few locals-a little at a time so as not to be become confused. It's at a nice easy pace but moves along.
Comes with extra things at the end of the book.

Comes with extras-patterns and an excerpt of the next book in the series.

I received this book from The Library Thing (librarything.com) early readers giveaway in exchange for my honest review

Fluff! And slightly bland and stale fluff at that. Which is better than saccharine sweet fluff, if I am honest.
While this book entertained me and kept my interest, I am not sure I want to pursue any more in the series. It was incredibly predictable and very milk-toast in flavor.

Its Debbie, I just had to read it. But no knitting references in the book, but it does have patterns at the end.

Poor writing and uninteresting characters made this a very painful read.

My first Debbie Macomber book and I'm quite pleased with it! For taking place over just a weekend, the three stories were very compelling and the characters very relatable. I definitely wouldn't mind reading another book either by her or with this series!

Such a brilliant story. And touching to. Of course it made me cry. Cannot wait for the rest of the series to come out!

A great read. Warm, nice, pleasant start to her new series. I look forward to the future books very much. A few teary moments, but she writes a nice easy read that keeps you wanting more.
