Highly recommend this anthology. Cherry Pie by Daisy Jane. has introduced me to a whole new kink I didn't know existed. Wow! Wonderful short story with a great love story and a good smut factor. Check the TW and hold on for a crazy ride. I've read a few stories by this author and she never disappoints.

Depraved Desire - Dani Rene
This is a quick, dark, taboo romance about an 18yo and her much older guardian, and I loved every second of it. Keir believes he's too much for the sweet innocent, but Adriane craves the darkness that only he can give. The character building is strong and the chemistry is hot. After reading this, I'm excited to deliver into the other stories in what I'm sure is going to be a fantastic anthology.

My review is for Saving His Forever by LeAnn Ashers
We have waited for Issac and Emily's story and it is heartbreakingly beautiful. Isaac enters Emily's life after she experiences something horrible. When he lays eyes on her he knows she is meant to be his. They both have bruised and battered souls, but they help each other heal like only true soul mates can.
Emily is a strong woman and learns just how strong she truly is while leaning on Isaac. Isaac gives her the strength to overcome her horrific past, and she lights his dark past.
Looking forward to reading the rest of this anthology.

Review for Daisy Jane’s Cherry Pie

If you’ve ever read any of Daisy’s work, you know she’s a master of emotional reads with spicy, taboo kinks thrown in and this short story is no different.

The FMC will break your heart with her feelings of being unloved and unwanted and not wanting to trust love when it is finally offered to her. When she does finally submit to the men and her feelings though, Daisy manages to pack a lot of heat in such a quick read!

If this is the type of story we can expect from the whole anthology, then I’m sure it’s going to be fantastic!

Cherry Pie by Daisy Jane

This novella had so many things that I love.

Taboo? Check
Reverse Harem? Check
A bit of suspense/angst? Check!

I absolutely loved this story! I haven’t read an RH book for a while and this has reminded me exactly why I love them so much.

The tension between Cherry and the guys was insane and I was totally wanting more!

I can’t wait to continue reading Daisy’s backlist as all books that I have read by her so far have been amazing!

This review is for Ecstasy Captured by C.M. Steele:

This was a good mafia romance. It definitely weren’t for the faint of heart, the story had a lot of darkness but I liked the story. Sebastian and Candy had a lot of chemistry and that gave the story a lot of steamy bits. This was a good read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Cherry Pie, although a novella by Daisy Jane it just so happened to be my first read of hers! And let me tell you that lady didn’t disappoint. Cherry Pie is the whole reason I’m now obsessed with Daisy Jane!

If you are into Stepdaddy/Step bro novellas — this spicy little number is for you, but don’t blame me when you have a new kink to add to your list, blame DJ!

Review only for Cherry Pie by Daisy Jane

Cherry, the female lead, has been raised by a nanny/carer since her mother’s death 14 years ago. Glenn, her stepfather, and Max and Conrad, her stepbrothers, shared a mansion but not a life. Now she’s 18, her nanny has been dismissed, and her stepfather demands she join the family law firm. And he and his sons appear to want more than work from her but she wants to know why her mother died and why they ejected her from their lives…

This novella is female lead POV, well written, and a taboo step father/brother reverse harem romance. It is intense, taboo (obviously) and covers a range of dark desire. I appreciated the character and relationship development and that Cherry didn’t just fall in line - they had ignored her for so long! I loved the epilogue, actually more than the rest of the story - totally in line with my kinks. This is the first shorter story I’ve read from this author and, whilst the content was handled well, I felt like it was packed in and would have worked better as a longer story. I also prefer multi POV.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary, honest review.
