This is one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books. I haven't kept up with any of his books in the last few years but of the older ones, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. We all know there will be a tragedy in any Sparks book but this one left me sobbinggg.
This man must dream in romance and tragedy because he writes it way too well. Ugh. Made it through almost the entire book and the last couple pages.... Tears. Damn you, Nicholas Sparks. Damn you...
This was the first Nicholas Sparks book I have read though I have seen a couple of movies based on his books. I had a very good image of the small Carolina town in my imagination thanks to his descriptive writing. I was just in a serious crash a couple of months ago and when I read the crash scene, it was so much like what I had been through that it was eerie for me! I read most of it out on the beach and it was kind of embarrassing how much I cried while reading this book!

Heartbreaking! This book actually made me cry and I haven't had a book do that in years. (Not since Dumbledore died!)
I'm bored and I don't like the way the child and her relationship with him are portrayed. It gives big autism mom and ABA vibes
