Satoru is taking Nana the stray cat he rescued to meet some of his old friends, in their trusty van. Join them on their journey, both physical and reflective. 

I really enjoyed that a lot of this was from the POV of Nana, I think it made for a really interesting and unique book and I really enjoyed that it was quite different from anything else I've read. I really connected to Nana and I laughed out loud at some bits, and was almost crying at other parts. 

I loved the journey to see friends and all the backstories we got - I thought it was really facinating how the book was set out, and I was deffo invested to see what happened. However, I wasn't really gripped and wasn't that bothered about picking it back up, it was just there in the background to read when I fancied so I didn't feel it could have more than four stars.

Such a lovely story about not just the bond we share with our cats, but those we make along the way with our friends and family.  Be prepared to give your cat an extra cuddle after reading!
