Reviews with content warning for Panic attacks/disorders - Reasons to Stay Alive

This was not a book that will tell you how to get out of depression. This was a book filled with a reasons to stay alive written by someone who was wanting to die.

Although this book wasn't written by a psychiatrist or psychologist I found this helpful. Reading a book written by someone who had been through the same thing as me giving me a sense of calmness.

I may not get tips on how to overcome depression from a professional, but I can found reasons to not drowning in it.

I think this book is great for those who are new to mental illness or who perhaps need a little education on what their loved ones are going through.
As some who has had mental illness a long time I did not love this book. It was well written but I could not engage the way I might have a few years back. I hope it continues to support those who need it and I am glad it exists.
