So awesome to finally watch Hayworth get the man of his dreams and to be Christian’s pick!
Hayward is unlucky in love. He’s been left by men for their childhood sweethearts, 3 times. So, when he meets Christian, he knows he’s way out of his league.
Christian is a football coach, and has come out so he can really look for someone to be with. He likes Hay, who does a sports comedy podcast and is interviewing him.
They both want something more than a hookup, but Hay can’t really believe Chris will keep him around. They stay in touch, face job changes and an ex, and still manage to stay together.
Nice novella, I like the characters and Hay’s connection to the Marian men. Shorts are always too fast, so the pacing is off for me, but it’s a fun short read.

Hay Is Finally First Pick
Its been a few years since read Moving Maverick so I don't remember Hay, but I'm so glad that he has gotten his happily ever after. He is sweet and so loveable.
He's interviewing Chris who's the coach of the fictional NFL team Jackson Jackals. They are both fans of each other and Chris picked him to interview him since he's recently come out.
The two of them together was awesome. The sex was hot and the love was perfect. I was so glad that Chris got Hay to see he deserved so much after all his exes had ended up with their childhood sweethearts and Hay had been broken hearted each time. Loved this and them. The last two pages at an award show was one my favorite parts.

A cute addition to the Made Marian universe. I don't remember where Hay is from but I enjoyed the humor and the romance of a gay sport sportscaster and a gay football coach.
Instalust dual point of view
Standalone, but Hay has been in many of the Made Marian stories and his decisions are based on what occurred in those stories.
Hay is the one never chosen - three of his past boyfriends have thrown him over for their childhood sweethearts. When he gets to meet his childhood celebrity crush and finds his attraction returned, will his past tear them apart before they get started?
Cute story. Who doesn’t want a childhood celebrity crush to want them like crazy!?! Hay is sweet. Like Chris too. I understand Hay’s concerns. I like that the two talk a lot to develop their relationship. Would like to see Chris have more issues so it’s not all Hay’s insecurity.

This was so cute! I loved Hay from his first appearance and hoped that he would end up with someone and Chris is just perfect for him! The chemistry they share is undeniable and so hot! I loved them and hope to see them again!
Sweet and heartwarming
I loved Hay and Christian’s sports romance. This is a heartwarming, funny and steamy romance with lovable and relatable characters. Hay is runs a sports commentary podcast. Christian is a former NFL receiver and the current coach for an NFL team. Christian selects Hay to interview him after he comes out. There is instant connection and attraction between them but to get to their HEA there needs to be some baggage unpacking and a little life rearranging first. Despite being short, the story was well written and included three dimensional characters and an engaging storyline.

This short actually made me really like Hay after disliking him in Moving Maverick. It was nice to see him address his insecurities and also to see him achieve so much!
