Not only the message was simple (as stated on the title), the book was visually stunning and calming. It has 100 chapters, 2 pages long each, which is perfect for a quick and light read.

This small book is a nice collection of simple thoughts from a Zen Buddhist monk. It has one page chapters with enough insights. The ideas contained in this book are not new but here they are presented with a lot of clarity which can provide inspiration whenever I decide to pick up the book.

i didn‘t enjoy myself reading this book but feel like I learned quite a bit. the author is a buddhist monk and speaks from his own experience. many things naturally refer directly to his religion so one has to adapt the info to their own life while reading the book. it‘s a very quick read because it mostly consists of a list of 100 things of how to bring more zen into your life, each of the 100 points comes with a small hand full of info, buddhist stories, analogies, stories of known people in buddhism,… all in all I found it really informative but also, right now I don‘t really have a concept of how to incorporate these things into my life. i think it‘s going to be a journey and I‘ll probably come back to this book again and again just to find some inspiration and guidance again
