This was a decent dark romance.  It was a quick read and I enjoyed the plot overall.  I would say there is some gore, it's a little intense/twisted at times.  I would give it...maybe 2 chili peppers for spice/smut.

This book was kind of stupid but I’ve heard it gets better as the series goes on and it’s a fun, thrilling read. Also kinda curious to see what made her get to the point of murdering these awful men. I’m rooting for her lol

My first thought after finishing this book was, "HOLY S**T, that was a really good book!!!"

I really liked the FMC Lana. She seems like this quiet, reserved woman who doesn't really like anyone, but then you get to know her and she becomes someone else altogether. She's bad@$$, hardcore, but bit of a loner until Agent Logan Bennett. Boy is he hot. Gotta love a man in uniform. Not sure how it's going to work out but it does seem like things are going to end up coming to a head sooner rather than later.

I have to say this author must have had a lot of fun when she got to the ending of book 1. I mean it's one of those nail-biting, "HOLY sh**t, This can't be happening" type of endings.

Devoured this one. It’s very short and digestible, but check trigger warnings for content that may be triggering. If you’re not into serial killers or descriptions of murder a la Mindhunter/Criminal Minds, this one might not be for you.

Slightly misleading based on the cover, this has fairly mild spice - 🌶️🌶️ out of 5.

THE CLIFFHANGER??? 

This book is phenomenal and there's only 134 pages 😭 I loved the characters and their relationship. Lana is perfect. I love how she decided to take revenge on the people who wronged her. Logan is so sweet and he is so smitten for Lana that it is so adorable. 
For all my swifties, Lana is reputation coded and Logan is Lover coded 👀
I am in love with the idea of a serial killer and an FBI agent falling in love... AND THE FACT HE IS LOOKING INTO HER CASE IS BDKQBSJS 
Can't wait to read the next book
