This was so fun, and dare I say - so sweet. The premise had me from the beginning and I really liked both Kayla and Michael. Their relationship was honestly super cute and just made me smile. I love them.
FMC decides to apply to find a sugar daddy. She meets MMC, they fall in love.. etc. This was a fun book! I really loved both of the characters plus the FMC is a Bisexual BWOC. There was actually a lot of nice rep in this book (her two work friends are a trans woman and a POC gay man). I hated a certain part of the book but otherwise I really enjoyed it!

Literally went from 0 to 100 in less than ten pages, for real. I know this is a novella, but come onnnnnn how can anyone be completely uninterested in being a sugar baby to accepting it without reservations in only two days? if only it wasn't lust at first sight or they had actual romantic development...
And i don't think i will be reading more of Rebekah Weatherspoon, there's only so much artless sex scene i can take. Not even the age gap trope could save this, the guy was too sweet, and he didn't have any issues?? wtf. Years and years and only Sarra Manning's Unsticky has given me everything I want from a sugar daddy/age gap romance.

I had a terrible day. You know that kind of day that just beats down your soul and makes everything look bleak and a little hopeless.
I was desperate for a distraction and remembered I had heard to the author, Rebekah Weatherspoon, being interviewed on a podcast where she said this book was fluffy. I needed that last night. I needed to forget about my stress and pain and just lose myself in a hopeful love story. Holy hell did So Sweet deliver and then some.
Kayla is a delight. A big beautiful black girl who love her body, is sex positive, and pro-sex work. She's also hilarious. I was laughing out loud (or rather muffling it in my pillow in order to not wake up my husband) at the dialogue. Fans of witty banter and foul mouthed women, this is our kind of book. Micheal is sexy older man who respects women, is driven, and upfront. (He's in the top 5 of my Steve Rogers Alpha Males romantic leading men list.) His honestly both in the arrangement and his feelings had me swooning on the floor. God damn this man is so damn hot.
This couple are hot! They're chemistry jumps off the page. I was flailing and giggling right along with Kayla as she and Micheal exchanged flirty text. Concerned for her through every step of their complex and unique relationship. I shed tears of joy over the beautiful happily ever after these two beautiful sexy people so richly deserved.
This is fantasy fulfillment of the highest quality. I wanted to wrap myself in this story and never say goodbye to these characters. This is a guaranteed reread and one of my favorite romances of all time.
