I wanted to love this book with all my heart, a bisexual fat black woman as the main character? Oh yes, please. I actually loved Kayla, loved her so much. I liked Michael too, he is very sweet. But I didn't end loving the couple, and this is on me! I'm not a fan of age gap. They're cute, funny and they deserve all the happiness.
If you like the sugar daddy trope, cute couples, and amazing protagonist, give So Sweet a try!

Great, fun read. Recommended for anyone that like smart, witty, sexy brain candy.
Rebekah Weatherspoon writes a great premise and has a fresh and funny voice. But this isn't a complete story: more of a novella with a cliff-hanger ending, and I wanted more completion in my life.

meeehh, i just got really bored and didn’t care at all :/
just everything from the characters and their chemistry, to the plot and the romantic scenes was so underwhelming to me, and i know that rebekah can write way better than this!

“So Sweet” is so apt!
This is my first time reading Rebekah Weatherspoon and this was such a cute, fun story! I love Kayla’s humor and the relationship between her and Michael feels very organic. I like their candidness and honesty, especially from the get-go. Largely a low-angst story, but very high heat. I don’t like the conflict that occurs, but I do like that it addressed that men can say no too, and it needs to be respected, and their conversation with Michael setting boundaries. Looking forward to the future development between Kayla and Michael!

I thought I hated the billionaire trope because of the power imbalance but I enjoyed this novella. Kayla and Michael are cute and dare I say NORMAL. He's attentive, affectionate, and not an ass hole. Kayla reads as a round the way girl with great personality who falls in love. Their relationship is easy and no frills, just a lot of sexy time. The way I like it, no drama. The side characters are so adorbs Reuben, Hoglar, and Daniella. And can I say a loved the tension that we all come to expect in romance is with dissolving a toxic relationship rather than a late hour issue that shouldn't result in a breakup. Adler was the perfect protagonist because she was the reason for Kayla signing up to be a sugar baby, but she (Adler) was left with nothing. Bye girl. It was the perfect Sunday smutty read! I will be continuing with the series.
The reason the book didn't get a full 5 stars, is the last chapter felt rushed and while I enjoyed how the book wrapped up I think another 2 or 3 chapters would have been great.

The title says it all, this is a sweet and sexy little story. Normally I end up taking off points for the abbreviated nature of the novella but the pacing was perfect for the format. The story moved quickly, but the way the author made sure time passed helped to make the process of falling for someone very organic. I really want Daniella to get a story.
(Bought this as part of the Pick What You Pay bundle on April 9. Pretty sure I read it within a month, but just forgot to mark on Goodreads)
This was surprisingly really fun and I want more??

Whew, this novella was streaming hot. I got this as a gift and I'm really glad I read it, even though it isn't my favorite by Rebekah Weatherspoon.
I really liked the premise and the characters, but couldn't help but feel sad about the developments in some friendship areas. And I struggled with the initial start of the relationship agreements. I can't exactly say why, it was well written, and the tricky sex worker - client dynamic was very well handled imo. I still struggled to *connect* and ended up feeling like the MCs were always one step ahead of me.
I definitely enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading more of this series after a solid start with this one.
