Upping this a star higher because although this book isn't perfect (Kayla and Michael fell in love with each other too quickly for my taste; it did feel a bit rushed--something I didn't notice in my first read but did now, weirdly), I love Kayla and Michael so much and sometimes that's enough for me to rate a book a 4. I enjoyed Kayla's wittiness and her banter with Michael (where can I haz a Michael), and I enjoyed the writing--the way Ms. Weatherspoon wrote this is very light and entertaining.

Also, I'm rereading this because the final book of this trilogy is just released, and I still haven't read book 2, so yeah I'm bingeing the whole thing.

Love, love, love!

Hot and sweet sugar daddy/baby story but with feelings.

This was a really fun and sweet read.  Kayla was a great main character. She was relatable and funny. I mostly enjoyed her relationship with Michael. Watching them grow closer and fall in love was a treat. The story was predictable, but not necessarily in a bad way. It felt like a warm familiar story that was easy to read.

On the downside, I felt like the problems and hurdles were too easily overcome.  There were barely any stakes and the story felt someone inconsequential.

This is the first time I read a romance book with first person point of view. It felt like a personal journal, but somehow I wish there were more well-articulated emotions implied. The interactions and the sex scenes felt like being told mostly empirically. Anyway, my favorite character in this book is Ruben.

Cute!

Really enjoyed it. It was sweet, cute and sexy. I read it in less than a day and will definitely binge the series. Will also be looking for others by Rebekah Weatherspoon.

So short and yet so basic and boring

Now, sugar Daddies are not my thing generally (and not a big contemporary reader either) but Rebekah Weatherspoon was among a group of authors who sponsored a Smart Podcast Trashy Books podcast the other week and gave away free books as part of that so I downloaded it, and read it!

And it's pretty darn good. Quite explicit, very steamy and romantic (surprisingly so for a a sugar daddy story) and a really good read. I'll be looking for the next book in the series and more from Rebekah Weatherspoon who I haven't read before.
