Always a sucker for friends turn lovers. I was like a giddy school girl reading the last few chapters.

Friend to lovers is a favourite of mine, so this was right up my alley.
Nolan and Emerson are foodies and let’s be honest who is it. I love that they have a YouTube channel that they’re trying to make a success but they never lose their friendship. Even when feelings become involved and they both want more but they don’t know how to go about it. Oh man the sexual tension, the chemistry flies off the page.

I was rooting for these two from the very beginning.
The narration is fantastic both narrators give you exactly what you want. They make you feel the story.

Nolan sounds completely my type. This is pretty light easy read. Not great not horrible. Low-mid spice. I’m interested in Jason’s story so gonna try that next.

This one was just meh for me. I usually love best friends to lovers romances but this one was a little boring to me. Not sure exactly what it was but didn’t quite do it for me.

This sizzling friends to lovers romance was so fun and so delicious, I couldn't stop devouring it! Emerson and Nolan were so great together. They have been friends since college and have been in and out of each others lives ever since. They understand each other like no other, are both pranksters, and served as wingmen for each other. Now they are partners in a food blog that is about to be picked up by a huge corporation. They have tried to ignore their attraction to each other, until one night when they give in and have a night of explosive passion. The next morning, they are so afraid of losing the best person in their lives, that they decide it is better to go back to working together as 'just friends'. But can they continue with their deliciously sensual food blog and still remain just friends? This story was so unique, witty, fun, and steamy! Emerson and Nolan were wonderful characters. I loved how Emerson was so funny and bold, and Nolan was so selfless and caring. My heart broke for the issues they each struggled with but ultimately they helped each other heal and become stronger. There were also some quirky friends, and colleagues that were so sweet and hilarious, making this story even more fun. I absolutely loved this deliciously irresistible, and steamy romance!

Too much weird “low-cal” focus

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

SHUT UP AND KISS ME is the second installment in the Happy Endings series. It is a complete stand alone.

Emerson and Nolan are best friends that everyone thinks is together they just have that chemistry together. They are working to push their YouTube channel about food and restaurants to the next level. When Nolan gets an idea just how to do that it puts Emerson and Nolan together in the same room in Vegas. Neither has confessed to the other how their feelings have grown. But this one night could change everything. Are they ready to take that leap?

This is such a fun flirty read. Emerson and Nolan have such a cute dynamic together. I love a fun feel good book and Lauren Blakely delivered with this one.

Wicked Reads Review Team

i was going to give 4 stars because this was super cheesy but whatever i enjoyed so much so this deserved 5 stars

Note: An ARC was provided by the author.

It's no secret that Lauren Blakely knows romantic comedies, and she knows them well. Her latest book is yet another rom-com winner, and it's got that pinch of angst on top of the lighthearted and sweet and steamy feels. Blakely's also got a knack for the friends-to-lovers trope, but she always manages to bring in that touch of creativity so that it doesn't feel like another go-around of something she's already written. I seriously liked Emerson and Nolan. She was a force to be reckoned with and he was that flirty friend you can't get enough of. They both had issues from their pasts that they needed to contend with if they had any hope of actually becoming more, but there was nothing overly dark or depressing about said issues, or at least not in my eyes. Once again, these two have a strong support system in the people they choose to surround themselves with, and that's one of my favorite things about Blakely's books. Shut Up and Kiss Me was a wholly entertaining read, which is why it gets four stars, and I can't wait for the Happy Endings yet to come!

Oh my goodness! This book! Lauren Blakely has such a way of making me love all of her characters! Nolan is sweet and cute.. he’s so in love with Emerson, but so conflicted. Emerson has lost so much in her life and doesn’t let herself have what she wants because she worries so much. The two of them together could be perfect…. If they’d just let it be.

When they get invited to New York for what could their best deal ever, what they’ve wanted for their show, things begin to get real. Can they both have what they want and still keep their show? It’s a whole lot of fun finding out!

Lauren Blakely will always be a must read author for me. Her books always leave me feeling positive about the world. She writes about deep love, real love, and how getting there is not always easy… but so worth it. Can’t wait for the next book!
