Ahhh, more Mason!! Really loved this book, it was a great continuation of the story - it just jumped right into the story and kept you glued to the pages the whole way through!
Ohmygosh. There is so much drama in these books, and if they weren't so well-written that might really bother me. As it is, I still loved it even though things are heating up in this installment. Sam's mom is absolutely batshit crazy. There are very few characters that I've hated as much as I hated Analise. She is certifiably nuts, and I can't believe that Mason and Logan's dad is sticking around. This woman needs to be locked up for a long while.
I enjoyed this more than the first book. I definitely still feel that the characters are dramatic in their actions and that the storyline good do with more detail to grip the reader. I think my problem is mainly with the heroine. Some of her actions are childlike and this annoys me considering her age in the book.
I liked this one a whole lot better than the first one.. at least this one was consistent but it seemed like the characters did a complete 180 with their demeanors and personality... siighh.. BUT even with that I still liked it and now I am on to Fallen Crest Public to see what is going to happen with these catty bitches!! Just hope Sam gives as much as she gets! OH and wtf is up with Nate?? I think he might not be as he seems .... hmmmm

Drama, drama, drama…but who doesn’t love it?! Especially when the Kade brothers and Nate Monson are involved! We see a crazier side to Samantha’s mum which gives you even more empathy towards her and while others have called her weak I think she is strong for trying to overcome all the trauma she has been put through by the one person who is supposed to protect her. I bloody love Heather Jax and I’m so happy her character has joined the crew! Bring on the next book in the series!
This was the best lots of drama and romance between mason and Sam, with logan on the sidelines as the battle their family drama and threats to keep them away from each other, as well as SAMs mums craziness released to the extreme and secrets spew out, this book seemed to have a little bit for everyone and I loved it.
