The Atlas Six is a book waited ages for me to read it. Why? I bought it being super excited for the dark academia trope, and then I've seen so many negative reviews, which, of course, put me off. 

Being brutally honest, I still dont know how I feel and can't fully understand my thoughts. 

Is it dark academia? Definitely- but still, I feel like something is missing here according to the academic setting. I feel like there is no academic purpose for them being there... 

In my opinion, if we take away the dark academia trope, then we have mystery book. that's exactly what I liked in this story. There are so many secrets, because of which you dont know who is a bad guy and who's the good one.

It's worth mentioning that we have 6 main characters, and each one of them have different magical abilities. Each one of them is somehow broken but still so amazing talented.

The end surprised me, and now it makes the storyline for the second book even more interesting.
