Liked you more than I expected. Cute. The main couple was straight passing, but queer rep in side characters was fun to see
Really like the plot line. I personally don't like some of the things in the book but other than that it's fine....
This series is a lighthearted nerdy delight! It's fun to embrace the romance and catch the references (my favorite were from Howl's Moving Castle, The Princess Bride, and Pokemon Go).
4 stars!

4.5 YA adorkable stars, this was fluffy and silly
I really wanted to like this book, and maybe I've outgrown this series or maybe it's something I would have liked in high school. It was cringe. I cringed the whole way through because all the characters suck and the plot line was meh. Too many pop references. The dialogue felt unrealistic - like who talks like that?
I always love diving back into this series... it's light, it's fun, it's my world and that always makes it a delight. This is probably not my favourite of the series, mostly because there is so much convention world missing, but it's still a very lovely read, even though it's somewhat predictable because the original story is followed pretty closely.
