The romantic scene is probably something from every bookworms fantasy. Definitely would've liked to know more about Vance and what happened during the homecoming dance.
I love the first book of this series, which is the Geekerella. The bookish and the beast was an adorable read, retelling the charming story of Beauty and the Beast with the twist of books, geeky, fandom, Starfield, and a golden retriever. The story follows a Starfield villain and a small-town girl who was a fan of Starfield and also grieving the loss of her mother. This is my favorite book in this series, though there isn’t anything special in there except for books.
I enjoyed Rosie’s love for books. It’s like there is something about books that spoke to my soul. I’m sure every bookish person would love and relate to. Also, it’s not only revolved around geeky kinds of stuff, fandoms, or books, but also it tackles a dark issue which is grieving and parental death that makes it more special than the other book in the series. This book was especially easy to relate to because the protagonist itself is a book lover. The romance is an enemies-lovers kind of trope. What I don’t like about this book is the plot there wasn’t much going on. The story was a bit rushed. The characters didn’t stand out for me and the romance developed a little.
Overall, it’s a cute read and if you’re a book lover, you’ll love the concept, especially the love of Rosie for her books. It was fun, cute, light, and addicting read.

I always love a good 'Beauty and the Beast' retelling, but I bought this book because I was in a reading slump, and this cover just grabbed me. And I was right to buy it - funny, lighthearted, just the right amount of cheesy, all wrapped up in the love story of a charming nerd and a Hollywood bad boy you'd love to hate.
The perfect enemies-to-lovers contemporary story, as if written specifically for anyone who goes weak in the knees for a well written Dramione fanfiction but wants to break out of the vicious cycle of reading only AO3/Wattpad.

It's a cute little rom-com to pass the time. Updated references, shows that he's not just a typical main male love interest and has hidden likes and dislikes. Does a good job portraying Sci-fi nerds in love. Hope to see more like this from this author.
Very quick easy read, just a bit of fun. Liked all the references and nods to the fairytale and Disney animated movie. Good little pallet cleanser.
