OMG, this book became one of my favourites ever. This is what would happen if Fangirl by Rainbow Rowel had a baby.
I am absolutely in love with Beauty and the Beast and Rosie had my heart form the start. I am also wanting to read more about the Bookverse in the Bookverse and it's crazy. Amara up and get to reading!

I really didn’t care for the first half of this, but it got cute towards the end if you blocked out how much of a dick the guy was in the first half.
It wasn't my favorite RomCom, and much less actual fan con than the series title would indicate. They spent almost all their time at some remote location in a library, which, hey, I like libraries, but it's not a con. There were too many overdone tropes, with green eyes, a fake grump, and the capper, a total Mary Sue whom everyone loves but she doesn't know she's beautiful and her only "fault" is that she's clumsy. There should really be a support group for clumsy heroines.
Hands down my favorite book in the Once Upon a Con series.
I listened to this one as an audiobook and I’m so glad I did!! The chapters go between Rosie and Vances POV and the audiobook is narrated by two different actors! For me that just brings the book to life so much more and honestly helps me to enjoy the story and characters more!!
I honestly can’t tell you why I love this book so much I just do?? So much that I’d listen to the audiobook again tomorrow????!!!!
Normally I graze the authors acknowledgements at the end but I HAD to read Ashley’s acknowledgement for this book! I love that she didn’t start by thanking everyone who needs to be thanked. She started with a confession about why she wrote this book. She wrote this book for herself and I love that so much!
She says, “I wrote this book for me. So, if you didn’t really enjoy this book, that’s okay! You’ll find one that you love. Like hunting through AO3, sometimes it takes a little time before you find that story that feels like your favorite song. and if you can’t find it? Then write it! Never let anyone tell you different.”
That ending really hit me and ya know what she’s right!!!
I related to Rosie so so much and could physically see myself in this character. She may be one of the first fiction characters I really could relate with! And I think that’s a huge part of what I love about Ashley’s books. Her characters start to really feel real!
This review doesn’t really tell you why you should or shouldn’t read this book but I’m telling you right now READ THIS BOOK!!! And this book series!!!!

I wasn't that invested in the romance and found parts of the premise very ridiculous, more ridiculous than I can tolerate even in this sort of story. That being said, I enjoyed my time reading this and liked Rosie a lot. My biggest problem with the story is something minor in the grand scheme of things, but really dampened my enjoyment. What was the point of the subplot with Elle and Damian breaking up. Breaking a couple up off screen in a romance sequel is already a sin. Never giving us a reason and having them randomly get back together in the end is even worse. It went nowhere. It's only purpose was to give more validity to the rumors about Vance. I could see the hand of the author forcing the characters to do something out of character, and that's always a bad sign.
