This series is so good. It's highly addicting. I gave the first two books in this series five stars, I did give this book four stars because I felt like it starts to drag in the middle. They spend a lot of time talking about characters from her other books that I haven't read. And it also seems like they destroyed the veils maybe a little too easily. But other than that it was a very enjoyable, highly addicting read.
I really enjoyed Novis POV but this one didn't catch my attention the way the first two did.
But gosh, Drachu, georgyanna and this damn king can all sit on a cactus and rotate

We begin with Ilara, who is with Drachu on the islands. I'm sad she had to leave Prince Norivun behind. But things didn't happen as they were supposed to, and I want to know why.
Interestingly, this third book is a dual POV, whereas the first two were single POVs. We do get Norivun's point of view in this book. He is seething and, without a doubt, has a right to be, but damn if I don't love when he gets angry.
The Gods are brought into this story, and the Lochen Fae have a different way of life than the Solis Fae. The story gets suspenseful as Prince Norivun searches for Ilara, who is on an adventure of her own. Neither knows what will happen; instead, they live by moments and clues.
This story is a fairytale retelling of Ilara's powers. It is action-packed and adventurous. While one issue is resolved, others are still hanging. Still, at least we get a loving, happy moment between Ilara and Prince Norivun.
This book does end on a slight cliffhanger, and the fourth and final book in this series has yet to be released.
I absolutely love how far Ilara and the Prince have come. In this story, they go from separated, heartbroken, and determined. The author indeed created the perfect opposite characters to capture your heart. They may be Fae, but the natural powers are out of this world. The suspense continues as they drive to right the wrong in Solis and, of course, have their happy ever after.

Haven't devoured a entire series this quickly in a long time. Soooo good!
adventurous
I didn't realise we needed explicit scenes every chapter. The book turned from amazing action to literally sex scenes after sex scenes every chapter, Norivuns pov also felt very foggy like looking through glass, I feel like it was mainly how he saw Ilara nothing much on action just wanting to spread her legs every second. It wouldve been best to have a chapter rarely through his eyes since it felt like the plot just went downhill. Its jarring when its one pov the first two books then suddenly its switching..
