I dont think im able to put my love for this book in words. The only thing I can say is that it is absolutely heartbreaking and at the same time fills your heart with so much love and hope. One of the best books i have ever read.

PS: please please please read the authors note. as someone who is stuggling with depression and suicidal thoughts herself, it made me cry, but in the best way possible, in a way of being understood.

i do love this book a lot. i think it’s a very realistic depiction of the grief and trauma that comes after the suicide of a loved one. because of that, it was incredibly difficult to read. i also thought that the ending didn’t quite match the pacing of the beginning.
i wish that a little bit more time had been given to the phase of caitlyn’s healing where the allows other people in and lets herself be vulnerable. since the ending feels rushed, it doesn’t come across as hopeful as i think it was intended to be.

i really loved this book. it meant a lot to me from the mental illness pov, even the authors note kept me emotional and i never read authors notes. i could rly easily fall in love w the characters and could feel for their emotions and pain.

Just didn’t hit in a way I was always waiting for more emphasis to be placed on Ingrid and Caitlin’s friendship but the story relies too much on boys and their relationships with them rather than with each other. The timing was messy and It was just not great. I would recommend to specific people, but I’d preface with how I was not super impressed
