This is a story about uncertainty. And pain, and tragedy, and loss. But most importantly, it´s a story about recovery. You can feel the deep-rooted love everyone feels for each other in the pack. Every single relationship is unique.
Robbie and Kelly´s love is so different from the other two main couples. Doesn’t mean it´s less intense. Though here we see it almost like a… dormant beast. You know it´s there, you know it´s powerful, but it´s tucked away. Oh, but when it wakes up? It´s beautiful. It´s mighty and grand. It´s endless.
This book broke me. Several times. Every time I thought things were ok, TJ came in and said “Surprise motherfucker!” and tore my heart apart once again. He´s really good at doing that.
This is the gayest pack that has ever existed. And I. Love. It. Sign me the fuck in for Team Human.
Ah, but the timeline (especially at the beginning) confused me a lot.
I can´t wait to read Brothersong. But, oh boy, I´m terrified of it.

God, I love these books. This one was a surprise as I usually run the other way when there is anything to do with amnesia. I loved these characters so much. Robbie went through so much, and I really felt his anger, frustration, and sadness coming through the pages. This book had it all. Love, romance, danger, action, humour, heartache, and found family. The whole series is a treasure.

IT MADE ME CRY. LIKE. A LOT.

I get irrationally angry reading this series because I have no one to talk to and the whole world should be obsessed with this series. We are so lucky to have TJ Klune’s narrative voice, imagination, queer representation.

This one surprised me. Then again, TJ always does. Each book in this series is written completely differently. Ravensong popped the hell off, but Heartsong was a head trip.
