Cute book with beautiful imagery. It makes me want to go to Maine! Ending was cute, a little expected, but very enjoyable.

This book was good overall. It took me a bit longer to connect with the characters,
but overall it was a very cute story. I didn’t necessarily like the ending, but I liked that it was what made Harriett happy. I also think this was a very slow burn, lots of tension building just to drop again. It didn’t go the way I expected totally, but again, I appreciated the story overall. Loved the friendship aspect as well, I’d love to have friends like this group. The love connection was also very beautiful, and I loved how devoted they were to each other. This wasn’t necessarily a book I couldn’t put down, not u til things picked up at the end. But I loved the metaphors, the imagery, motifs, etc.

reason it's not a 5 is because i don't really enjoy the misscomunciation, and because i wished the leads would've gotten a bit more time together. the book itself isn't really soley a romance book, its so many relationships and generally the concept of 'home', and that makes it really cozy. i also wish
parth had more of a role in the book, other than just being Sabrina's partner

Well-written. This just wasn’t for me. I was bored. I don’t usually read a lot of romance so I think that I am just not the right person to enjoy this book.

I liked this book a great summer or holiday read.
I did find the ending quite rushed, the build up was so good that it was disappointing that everything was resolved so quickly.

4.25

A little underwhelming at times. I was hoping for more focus on the friendship. I loved Harriet as a narrator, and I enjoyed her banter - especially when it started to look like Wyn was just a brooding mess. I didn't quite understand the chemistry or what had drawn them together in the first place, but they grew on me eventually.

ETA: changed my rating to a 4.25 because I can't stop thinking about it, and the more I think about it, the more I like it.
